National Trust Visit – July
Reception visited the National Trust Site of Hanbury Hall for a major minibeast hunt. We pond dipped with great success and explored the orchard and forest areas. The sun shone and we were lucky to enjoy an ice lolly thanks to the PTFA as well as our picnic lunch and fun in the park! We were proud of our fantastic children and their superb behaviour which was commented upon by several members of the public. Well done Owls class!
Seaside June 2019
We are looking at seaside stories. In these pictures we have our role play corner with a light house (Lighthouse Keeper’s Lunch) and a beach scene for children to paint onto the clingfilm. We have Poppy painting pasta shells for the beach and Harry exploring the creatures in our rock pool.

Space – May 2019
The children were really enthused by our topic last half term about Space. They did an amazing job of learning the planet names and their order from the sun. They investigated how we get to space, how astronauts live on the space station and how long it takes to reach the moon. We found out that it is 100 miles up to space too!
