Teaching Assistant Level 1 for Abbey Park First & Nursery School
Start date: ASAP
Salary: TA 1, Scale Point 1 £11,390.79 to Scale Point 4 £14,694.28
Contract: Fixed term to 31st August 2023, 30 hours per week, term time only, 6 hours per day.

We are seeking to recruit a suitably experienced and enthusiastic teaching assistant to work within our Early Years Team. Our successful Federation comprises of Abbey Park Middle School, Abbey Park First and Nursery School and Abbey Park Pre-school. Our Federation provides education for children across campus from the ages of 2 – 12 years old. The Federation encourages sharing of staff and resources, ensuring expertise and knowledge is available to all. We pride ourselves in being an inclusive setting who work closely as a team to ensure the best outcomes for all our pupils, whatever their ability.
Working for the Early Years Leader, the candidate will be part of a team in our nursery and pre-school classes, although there may be a need for the successful candidate to work across other areas of the Federation.
The successful applicant will ideally have experience in an Early Years Setting with the ability to complete our on-line learning journals, participate in children’s development checks and hold a Grade ‘C’ in both English and Maths. The candidate will be a highly effective and innovative team member, ensuring a high quality education for all of our pupils with the highest standards of learning and achievement. The promotion of inclusivity and a nurturing approach are essential skills.
