A message from the Headteacher
Abbey Park Primary School caters for children aged 2 to the end of year 7 (age 12). We have a spacious site opposite the Abbey in the beautiful town of Pershore.
Children are taught by inspirational, passionate staff that are relentless in their drive to ensure children make progress and are happy in their learning. All children are appropriately challenged at their level and experience a rich, varied curriculum with many enrichment and extracurricular activities.
Children in the school are class based and taught through an exciting topic led curriculum.
Children across the school benefit from a huge outdoor area including 2 forest schools, outdoor gym equipment and indoors a cookery suite, as well as a dedicated ICT suite.
Abbey Park prides itself on excellent pastoral care where all staff work closely with parents / carers in ensuring all children are ready and happy to learn. The school encourages parents / carers to discuss their children’s needs whenever needed.
I am really proud of our school and the care our children receive; I am very happy to show any prospective families around our site – please do get in touch.

View allYear 5 will be having a World War II Theme Day
We’d love the children to come dressed as evacuees—plus it gives their costumes a second outing! If they’d prefer not to dress up, they are very welcome to come in their normal school uniform.
Throughout the day, we will be cracking WWII codes, completing our topic work, and exploring the impact of war on humanity. The children will also have the chance to try some “make do and mend” activities by creating rags, bake wartime shortbread, and even have a go at a bit of 1940s dancing!
Thank you
Mrs Hollis
