Love the french Tayla – Tres impressionnant!
Some amazing work from Isla below -check it out.
For her rainforest creation – she started with a bit of wood which she painted green – then over a few weeks her rainforest took place!
She hammered and drilled in holes for trees 🌲 to stand in.
She chisled through the green paint to make squiggly sides and painted it blue (this took 10 coats because the wood was shiny and wouldn’t stick)- great perserverance!!
The amazing elephant: (Isla wrote) I have made the elephant 🐘 out of recycling and paper mache, it shows the tusks, teeth, trunk and he is in the trees🌳🌲to show he is a herbivore.
On daily walks she collected stuff- twigs, thistles and moss
Great to hear from so many of you 🙂 Great work from Isla (and can wait to see your rainforest), Tayla and Kelton.

This half term we have had some wonderful opportunities in year 4. Below are a few photos from our STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) day. We had to create our own autonomous cars based on a set of strict specifications! Some of the designs were fabulous and it was a great opportunity for the children to not just work in team and build the cars but to exercised in their view of what the future cou led and may well look like. Who knows…we may have some future engineers in our class!
